Dugout is a social platform dedicated to football fans, showcasing exclusive social content from leading football clubs and players. More about the ambition of the project here.
The situation
By July 2016, the design team had already worked on the overall architecture of the site. I joined the team to help launch the MVP and design the IOS app with the ambition to have the product live in a couple of weeks.
Key objectives
Allow users to discover and curate content by selecting their favourite clubs, players, legends and influencers. We called it the dugout strip (similar to the Instagram story selector)
Find a navigation pattern that works well on mobile.
Build functionalities around the primary content, sharing and discover more.
